Klara Maric Pasta Factory was born as a family-run business, starting with a small production of fresh pasta for the local market in Istria, during the period of maximum development of the tourism sector.
Over the years, the Klara Maric pasta factory has evolved, becoming a reference point for the production and processing of high quality dried pasta and fresh egg pasta, thanks to a careful choice of raw materials and the adoption of advanced production technologies.
With over 40 years of experience in the production of artisanal fresh pasta, Klara Maric created an icon at the very moment of its foundation: the introduction of Fusi, a dry egg pasta, typical of Istria. Originally handmade, the Fusi later became one of the company’s flagships.
Thanks to the expertise of each member of the family, the pasta factory has grown and is today the biggest and most specialized producer of Fusi, Tagliatelle a skein and other traditional Croatian formats.
With the increase in demand and the need to optimize the production process, Klara Maric has chosen Italpast as a reliable partner for the production automation and increase.
After careful evaluations and a series of visits to fully understand the specific needs of the customer, Italpast supplied new, fully automated plants with greater production capacity.
Thanks to robots for loading, handling the trolleys and automatically emptying the product into the packaging machine, it has been possible to overcome the problem of labor shortages, very much felt in Croatia nowadays. To date, 90% of the machineries used by Klara Maric Pasta Factory have been produced and supplied by Italpast
This cooperation was the key to consolidate the position of Klara Maric as a leader in the sector, maintaining the artisan tradition and authenticity of its products.
This partnership has allowed Klara Maric to achieve higher levels of efficiency and increase the quality of its product.
At the same time, it represented an opportunity for Italpast to actively contribute to the growth of the Company, thanks to new machine models, specifically designed to satisfy customer’s requests and production needs.
